The Southern Stars Pony Elite Dressage Saddle is made traditionally to a very high standard using only the best materials available. Our laminated beech wood spring trees, made to B.S.6635, form the foundation of a beautifully hand crafted saddle.

The Pony Dressage Saddle Features:
Seats that are individually hand shaped for extra comfort and padded with our Smar-Tech foam to allow the rider to achieve a close contact feel without being locked into position.

A large front knee block ensures a secure, correct and comfortable ride, even on the most powerful Pony.

The Stirrup Bars are uniquely positioned to allow the leg to lie in the precise centre of balance for the rider.

Smar-Tech foam is also used in the panels of the close contact saddles allowing the rider to sit closer to the pony's centre of balance, while distributing the rider's weight evenly over the Ponies back.
The Smar-Tech foam also moulds to the individual shape of the pony's back for the perfect fit.

The specific design of the Saddle encourages the Pony to move freely and develop a well muscled and balanced outline through all the levels of training.

The Saddles are superbly finished using the best quality hand graded French Calf Leather. They are reinforced with hard wearing Pig Skin. This combination gives the rider a uniquely comfortable and secure ride that will also stand up to the rigors of competition work. The Saddles come in 15" 15.5" 16" 16.5" and 17" seat sizes and range from Medium to Extra Wide Fit tree widths.

Saddles can also be individually fitted to template.
